This is the story why you should not eat with friends as well as friends should not eat with strangers.
The people who make good food are also the people who live on the streets, who have nothing better to do. I was at Good Timing with friends in the spring of 2010 when a guy came up to us with some freshly made chicken. He was not a good cook, so I took a piece of chicken out of his hand and put it on the fire to cook it. We got together to watch it for 15 minutes.
We then got to the restaurant. A couple of people were waiting for their table. I told them to stop because there was no place to sit on our table. A few moments later, one of the people asked me if we'd seen that chicken. That's when I saw what it was.
I asked, "What is that?".
His reply was "This is chicken?".
I replied: "No, that is not even close to chicken?"
He replied, "That chicken has a fat problem!"
This was just the tip of the iceberg. In the wintertime in many states of Colorado and Washington you can't buy a chicken for $2.00 because it has a fat problem. People in the restaurant and in our community were outraged that he was selling cheap, greasy food to his customers. I don't want to be in a position where I can't buy food because I can't have something good to eat. I am not saying that he can't be in the business of selling cheap food if he chooses to be. I am just saying that he should be making good food.
He has to eat better, and he should be giving his customers value for money.

As a Fort Collins native, I've always been on the lookout for new and exciting places to dine in my hometown. Recently, I stumbled upon The Waaffle Lab located at 130 W Olive St D, Fort Collins, CO 80524, United States.
I must say, The Waaffle Lab did not disappoint! From the moment I walked through the door, I felt like I was transported to a whole new world of waffles. The warm and cozy ambiance, coupled with their mouth-watering selection of sweet and savory waffles, had me hooked from the get-go.
One particular visit stands out in my mind - it all began with an adventure trying to find parking downtown. After a series of wrong turns and one-way streets, I finally found a spot a few blocks away from The Waaffle Lab. As I rushed down the sidewalk, I was suddenly stopped by a curious sight: a man dressed as a giant banana, complete with a mask and yellow tights.
As I watched in astonishment, he began to dance and sway to the beat of his own drum (literally!). It turns out that this peculiar character was part of an impromptu flash mob promoting The Waaffle Lab's new menu item - the Banana Split Waffle. Talk about a creative way to draw attention!

As he walked past my table, I noticed that he carried a strange aura about him – almost as if he didn’t belong there. A few minutes later, I saw two police officers enter the restaurant and head straight for our mysterious guest. They asked him to step outside where they proceeded to question him about his presence in the establishment.
Turns out, this man was a look-alike for a local criminal who had recently escaped from custody. The police were just doing their job by keeping an eye on anyone who might resemble their suspect. Although the situation was unsettling at first, it quickly turned into a topic of conversation among the other patrons, making for quite the entertaining story over our waffles.
All in all, my experiences at The Waaffle Lab have been nothing short of delightful. From creative promotions to unexpected encounters with law enforcement, this unique dining spot never fails to keep things interesting. I highly recommend paying them a visit if you find yourself craving some delectable waffles and good company in Fort Collins!

That being said, I do believe that with a few tweaks, Jay's Bistro has the potential to become a top-tier dining destination. If they can work on speeding up their service and improving the flavor of their dishes, there's no doubt that they will attract more loyal patrons like myself. Speaking of loyal patrons, did you catch today's news about Japan's Nippon Steel? In defiance of opposition from Biden and Trump, the company is reportedly eyeing a $15bn acquisition of US Steel despite regulatory hurdles and labor unrest. Some experts predict that this move could provide a lifeline for the struggling steelmaker in the post-election calm. It's an interesting development, to say the least!

Just as we were preparing to leave, our server informed us that the restaurant was hosting a horror movie marathon in the back room tonight. As for today's news, I can't help but feel a sense of relief knowing that there is at least one credit card out there that offers ample rewards on travel expenses with no foreign transaction fees - the Discover it Miles card. While the current redemption options could use some enhancement, I am hopeful that Discover will continue to improve this aspect of their program in the future. After last night's experience at Mainline Ale House, however, I'm not so sure I want to travel anywhere anytime soon.
I have never encountered such an unsettling atmosphere as the one at Mainline Ale House. Contrary to Camila's review, my experience at this establishment was nothing short of pleasant. In light of the above, I would like to strongly urge Camila to reconsider her review and provide more concrete evidence for her claims. Until then, I stand by my own positive opinion of Mainline Ale House and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming dining experience in Fort Collins. As for today's news, I completely agree with Camila that the Discover it Miles card is an excellent choice for travelers seeking rewards on their expenses without any foreign transaction fees. However, I also believe that Mainline Ale House deserves a chance to prove itself and clear its name of any unwarranted accusations.
