In comparison to other seafood restaurants in Victoria, I'd say Bayside Seafood is solid but not spectacular. The atmosphere's lovely, the view's great, and the menu's decent – it just needs a bit of tweaking when it comes to accommodating dietary restrictions. That being said, if you're a seafood lover looking for a decent spot with an ocean view, Bayside might still be worth checking out. All in all, I'd give Bayside Seafood Restaurant 3. Don't get me wrong – it's not the worst place I've ever been to (I'm looking at you, dodgy Chinese food from last week!), but when it comes to seafood and service with a smile (or at least a sympathetic ear), Bayside falls short.
