We know from a certain source that the best seared chicken is served in Baker's Drive-Thru. You can find it at 6686 Indiana Ave. _54328 State Rd. 57, off I-90 at W. Exit 100, West Lafayette. This restaurant has been opened for more than 25 years in a small town that isn't exactly renowned as a culinary center, Antika has built up a loyal following for its authentic Italian cuisine—whether you order from their small menu or their extensive wine list.
An old house on the old Main Street, in a neighborhood where the historic churches house a few small pubs and eateries, Bread & Wine is a welcome addition. It might be a bit too popular for its own good, but if you're looking for a place to sit, hang out, play dominoes, share a light beer, and enjoy the ambience, it's a good bet to try.
The seas around Narragansett are rich in oysters but not every oyster is fit for eating, and a lot of oysters are gathered from beaches where the high-density packing of nets to gather them (a process known as raking) damages the natural habitat of the local crabs and other creatures.
In many towns, particularly in Washington County and East Kingstown, it's legal to gather oysters in the wild or to rake them up, and then to sell them alive to a grower. It's a great way of being able to eat some delicious and local bivalves. Unfortunately, in more than half the state, it is illegal.
What About All the Oysters in the Sea?
The total number of wild oysters in the waters of Rhode Island and the Atlantic seaboard exceeds all of the world's oyster beds combined. Rhode Island is home to the largest known wild population of the native Olympia oyster, and in many areas, there are more than one hundred species of marine mollusks, oysters, clams, mussels, snails - per square mile.
The state's population of these organisms outnumbers the human populace by ten to one. As for the state's oyster beds, they amount to about sixty-eight million tons of oysters of all types, of which nearly eighty-five million tons are located around New England and much of the coastal Atlantic.
The best know are the massive beds of Eastern oysters, which can be several miles long and a quarter mile across; the beds in western Rhode Island and New Shoreham contain the second-largest population in the world, and there are probably as many as thirty-two thousand beds. There are also extensive beds of the Pacific oyster because of the enviromentals concerns they have been banned.

As a food enthusiast and lover of cozy ambiance, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Marie Callender's Restaurant & Bakery located in the heart of Riverside. The address might not be explicitly stated, but trust me when I say that this hidden gem is nestled on Merrill Ave, easily accessible to all who crave delicious food and a comfortable atmosphere. I visited Marie Callender's Restaurant & Bakery alone in December, but the warmth and hospitality of the staff immediately made me feel at home. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with a smile and promptly seated by a friendly hostess. The interior decor was inviting, with soft lighting and rustic wooden accents that gave the space a cozy and intimate vibe. The menu at Marie Callender's Restaurant & Bakery is diverse and caters to a wide range of tastes and dietary restrictions. I opted for the Chicken Pot Pie, which was hearty, comforting, and packed with flavor. The pastry crust was flaky and perfectly golden brown, and the filling was creamy and loaded with tender chicken and vegetables. For dessert, I indulged in a slice of their famous Apple Crisp, which did not disappoint. The fruit was fresh and juicy, and the topping was crispy and deliciously sweet. One aspect that truly sets Marie Callender's Restaurant & Bakery apart from other dining options is its commitment to using high-quality ingredients and preparing meals from scratch. This attention to detail is evident in every bite of my meal and left a lasting impression on me. Asia investors are currently grappling with central bank decisions and economic data, as well as Good Friday closures. The Bank of Japan's yield curve end signals recovery confidence, while the Federal Reserve maintains a dovish stance. Additionally, the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and the Bank of England (BoE) both made their own moves this week. In Japan, revised January leading indicators and service producer prices are on the agenda, while Malaysia and Singapore will report inflation data. China's yuan slide is disrupting currencies, while Premier Li Keqiang is set to issue new regulations on market access and data flows. Despite these global events, Marie Callender's Restaurant & Bakery offers a peaceful haven for diners to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cozy atmosphere, coupled with the delicious food and exceptional service, makes this restaurant truly stand out from its competitors. I left feeling satisfied, content, and eager to return soon. Whether you're in the mood for comfort food or something more elaborate, Marie Callender's Restaurant & Bakery is the perfect spot to satisfy your cravings and enjoy a relaxing dining experience.

As a business-minded individual on the hunt for potential investment opportunities, I stumbled upon Subway in Riverside during my travels. Having heard mixed reviews about the franchise, I decided to pay them a visit and gauge their operations for myself. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Firstly, the location itself was quite uninviting. The storefront seemed outdated and in need of a facelift, giving off an overall impression that the business may not be doing particularly well. Upon entering, the interior was similarly underwhelming - dim lighting, scuffed floors, and a general lack of cleanliness left me with a sense of unease. But I'm one to give restaurants a second chance, so I ordered my sandwich and sat down to enjoy it. Unfortunately, that too proved to be a disappointment. The bread was stale, the ingredients seemed to have been sitting in their respective containers for far too long, and the overall flavour profile left much to be desired. I couldn't help but wonder if this was simply a one-off occurrence or if it was indicative of a larger problem within the chain. It's a shame that such a major brand like Subway would let itself fall into such disarray, as it's especially concerning given the current state of our environment. As you may have heard in today's news, the world's largest coral system has seen two mass bleaching events before this year alone - a tragic and unprecedented occurrence that underscores the urgency for businesses to prioritize sustainability and conservation efforts. But seeing as how Subway's sandwiches are notorious for their excessive packaging waste, I can't help but wonder if they're taking their role in protecting our planet seriously enough. All in all, I left Subway feeling underwhelmed and frustrated. While the business may have potential, it seems that a lot of work is needed to truly turn things around. I sincerely hope that the franchise takes a closer look at its operations and makes necessary changes - not just for the sake of improving customer satisfaction, but also because our planet's future depends on it.

As I walked into Flame Broiler, an overwhelming sense of anticipation washed over me. Despite being single, my taste buds craved a delightful culinary experience that would leave me craving for more. Little did I know that my adventure at this riverside gem was going to be nothing short of spectacular. The restaurant's ambiance immediately caught my eye - the dim lighting, vibrant red and orange wallpaper, and the sea of sizzling pans filled with mouth-watering dishes were a feast for the senses. The staff working that evening appeared to know their stuff, donning crisp white uniforms with matching red ties around their necks. As I made my way through the crowded dining area, the friendly and attentive staff greeted me with warm smiles. Their impeccable customer service skills left an indelible impression on me. They were approachable, knowledgeable about their menu offerings, and eager to answer any questions or concerns that I may have had. One particular employee stood out amongst the rest - a bubbly young server named Maria who had just started working at Flame Broiler. Her infectious energy and genuine enthusiasm for her job shone through in her demeanor and her approachable attitude. She took the time to chat with me, make recommendations based on my taste preferences, and ensure that I was enjoying every aspect of my dining experience. But what truly set this restaurant apart were the flavors that danced across my tongue. From the perfectly cooked filet mignon to the succulent shrimp skewers, each dish was meticulously crafted with precision and care. The blend of herbs, spices, and sauces created a symphony of flavors that tantalized my taste buds and left me craving more. As I sat there savoring every last bite, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such an amazing dining experience at Flame Broiler. The staff's warm welcome, coupled with their exceptional service skills, made the entire night one that I would always cherish. In conclusion, my visit to Flame Brolier was a true testament to the fact that even when visiting as a single tourist, one can find genuine warmth and hospitality in the people they meet along the way. The staff at this riverside gem truly embody the spirit of exceptional customer service, making it an unforgettable dining experience for me and countless other visitors alike.

As an avid diner, I can attest to the outstanding food and exceptional service at Juan Pollo. Located on 6055 Magnolia Ave in Riverside, California, this restaurant consistently delights with its mouth-watering dishes and friendly staff. The attentive servers are knowledgeable about the menu items and have a warm demeanor that makes you feel like family. Their quick thinking helped prevent an argument from escalating during my last visit, showing their impressive problem-solving skills. The food is cooked to perfection with bold yet balanced flavors, making every bite a delightful experience. Don't miss out on the authentic Latin cuisine at Juan Pollo - it's a must-visit destination in Riverside!
As a seasoned critic in the culinary industry, I have dined at numerous establishments and can confidently state that my experience at Juan Pollo was far from fantastic. In fact, I would go as far as to say that this restaurant falls severely short of delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Firstly, the service left much to be desired. While the staff was not unfriendly, they seemed disinterested and lacked any real passion for their work. They were slow to respond to our requests and appeared more focused on their own conversations rather than attending to our needs. The restaurant was relatively empty at the time of our visit, yet we had to wait nearly 15 minutes just to place our order. It's clear that this staff lacked any real training in customer service and left us feeling neglected throughout our meal.
Secondly, the food itself was a major letdown. The menu promised an array of authentic Latin dishes, but what we received fell well short of those expectations. The chicken, which is supposed to be Juan Pollo's signature dish, was overcooked and dry, lacking any real flavor or tenderness. The sides were equally disappointing, with the rice and beans being bland and unremarkable. We left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed in our overall dining experience.
In contrast to Josephine Hayes' review, I can't recall any standout moments during my visit to Juan Pollo. While it's true that there was no major incident or drama, the lack of anything truly memorable is a sign that this restaurant is simply average at best. It's unfortunate that such a highly-rated establishment could fall so far short of its own standards and expectations.
Overall, my experience at Juan Pollo left me feeling underwhelmed and unimpressed. While I understand that everyone has their own preferences and tastes when it comes to food, the discrepancy between Josephine Hayes' review and my own is stark and significant. In my opinion, Juan Pollo falls far short of delivering the level of quality and service that it should be providing at its price point. I would strongly advise readers to consider other options before deciding to dine at this establishment.
