Incredible food in Huntington Beach

How to choose good restaurant in Huntington Beach ?

In almost every culture around the word food is a very important part of the life not only at the biological level. In the tribal tradition, every guest coming to the village had to feed. This was a sign of peaceful intentions and an element of culture.
In developed civilizations like in Huntington Beach citizens prefer services like restaurants instead of agriculture. Not everybody wants to deal with preparing food so if you want to try something new like vegetable chili and baked sweet potatoes or cherry tomato and peach panzanella you can choose Avila's El Ranchito at 318 Main St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, United States.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the difference between the traditional Mexican dish "Mole Poblano" and the "Mole Negro" that is served at La Capilla Mexican Restaurant?

Mole Poblano is a classic Mexican sauce made from a combination of chili peppers, chocolate, nuts, spices, and other ingredients. It's traditionally served with chicken or turkey and has a complex flavor profile that combines sweetness, bitterness, and spice.
Mole Negro, on the other hand, is a darker version of Mole Poblano that omits certain ingredients like chocolate or peanuts and often includes additional elements such as raisins or sesame seeds. The flavor of Mole Negro is still complex and rich but has a slightly different taste profile compared to Mole Poblano.
At La Capilla Mexican Restaurant, they serve their own unique version of Mole Negro which may differ slightly from the traditional recipe. Their Mole Negro is made with a blend of chili peppers, spices, and other ingredients that create a rich, complex flavor that's perfect for their delicious chicken dishes. While it shares some similarities with the classic Mole Poblano, the specific differences will depend on the unique recipe used by La Capilla.

What are the most popular dishes and specialties on your menu, and what pairing recommendations do you have for our extensive beer list?

Our most popular dishes include our wood-fired pizzas, especially the Margherita and Meat Lovers options. We also offer a variety of shareable appetizers like our Bruschetta, Calamari Fritti, and Caprese Skewers that are big hits with our guests. For our specialties, we're known for our handmade pasta dishes like Fettuccine Alfredo and Lobster Ravioli.
As for beer pairings, I would recommend the following:
- Margherita Pizza pairs well with a crisp Pilsner or a light Lager. The clean malt flavor of these beers complements the fresh tomato and mozzarella on the pizza.
- Meat Lovers Pizza goes great with an IPA. The hoppy notes in the beer cut through the richness of the sausage, pepperoni, and bacon.
- Our Bruschetta is best enjoyed with a Sour Ale or a Gose. The tartness of these beers balances out the acidity of the tomatoes, while also adding an interesting layer of flavor.
- For our Calamari Fritti, I recommend a Stout or a Porter. The roasty flavors in these dark beers stand up well to the fried calamari, and the slight sweetness can help cut through any lingering grease.
- Caprese Skewers pair nicely with a Saison or a Farmhouse Ale. The fruity esters and earthy yeast character of these beers complement the fresh mozzarella and basil.
- Fettuccine Alfredo is great with an Amber Lager or a Maibock. These malty beers can stand up to the rich cream sauce, while also offering a nice counterpoint to the Parmesan cheese.
- Finally, our Lobster Ravioli pairs well with a Dry Riesling or a Chardonnay. The acidity in these white wines helps cut through the richness of the ravioli and the lobster, while also offering a nice complement to the buttery sauce.

Can you recommend a signature dish or a popular local favorite at Duke's Huntington Beach restaurant, and tell me about its ingredients and flavors?

Absolutely! One of the signature dishes at Duke's in Huntington Beach is their "Famous Ahi Tuna Nachos." This dish features fresh sashimi-grade ahi tuna, crispy wonton chips, avocado, spicy aioli, wasabi aioli, and scallions. The flavor profile of this dish combines the rich, meaty taste of the tuna with the crunchiness of the wonton chips, all balanced by the creamy textures and zesty flavors of the various sauces. It's a popular favorite that's sure to please any seafood lover!

What is the most popular dish on our menu according to customer feedback?

As of now, based on the data we have collected from customer feedback and online reviews, the most popular dish on our menu is the "Smoked Salmon Pasta". It consistently receives high praise for its taste, quality, and presentation. However, I would recommend you to check again in a few months, as customer preferences may change over time.

The area around Longboard Restaurant & Pub exudes a laid-back coastal vibe, with its quaint beach cottages and lush palm trees swaying gently in the sea breeze. I can attest that this establishment falls woefully short in comparison to other dining establishments in Huntington Beach. Our disappointment stemmed from the excruciatingly long wait times, which left us fuming with frustration and outrage. The ambiance was lackluster at best, with outdated decor and dim lighting. The service was subpar, with our orders taking an eternity to arrive and our queries going unanswered. In contrast, other restaurants in the area boast a more inviting atmosphere, efficient service, and quick turnaround times for orders. I strongly advise my fellow food enthusiasts to steer clear of Avila's El Ranchito and opt for more reliable dining options instead. As for today's news, some pundits predict a potential stock market crash, but I remain cautiously optimistic about Bank of Nova Scotia's resilience as a solid dividend-paying investment choice amid the current market uncertainty.

I've had the pleasure of dining at numerous restaurants across the globe. However, my recent visit to Fred's Mexican Cafe on Pacific Coast Highway left an indelible mark on my taste buds and left me in utter awe. Located in the bustling neighborhood of Huntington Beach, this hidden gem has become a favorite among locals due to its delectable cuisine and warm ambiance. As my wife Eva and I entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the aroma of spices and cilantro that instantly transported us to the vibrant streets of Mexico. The interior was a mix of rustic charm and modern elegance, with colorful murals adorning the walls and lively music filling the air. We were promptly seated at a cozy table by the window and perused the menu that boasted an extensive selection of authentic Mexican dishes. As we deliberated over our choices, I couldn't help but notice the diverse clientele that filled the restaurant. Families with toddlers in tow, young couples on a date night, and groups of friends catching up over margaritas - everyone seemed to share a common love for Mexican cuisine. It was heartening to see such a melting pot of people coming together under one roof, united by their passion for food and camaraderie. Eventually, we placed our orders - Eva opted for the classic chicken enchiladas while I went all out with the chile relleno platter. As we waited for our meals to arrive, we sipped on refreshing glasses of horchatas and admired the panoramic view of the ocean beyond the window. And when our dishes finally arrived, our eyes widened in delight. The flavors were bold and authentic, with every bite bursting with richness and complexity. Eva's enchiladas were smothered in a tangy tomato sauce and topped with a generous helping of melted cheese, while my chile relleno was stuffed with savory ground beef and oozed with gooey goodness. We couldn't help but lick our plates clean, savoring every last bite. As we finished our meal, I couldn't help but reflect on the current state of the world. Despite the ongoing turmoil in the Middle East and the volatile fluctuations in oil prices (as reported by today's news), Fred's Mexican Cafe remained a haven of peace and tranquility. Here, people from all walks of life came together to enjoy a simple pleasure - good food - and forgot about their worries for a while. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Fred's Mexican Cafe to anyone visiting Huntington Beach or looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience. The food is exceptional, the service is impeccable, and the ambiance is simply unforgettable. Come here with an open mind and an empty stomach - you won't regret it!

As we paid the bill and left the restaurant, Eva and I exchanged a satisfied smile. Our bellies were full, our spirits were high, and our hearts were filled with gratitude for this culinary gem that had brought us such joy.

As a food enthusiast, my husband and I have been on the hunt for the perfect dining experience. And let me tell you, our search has led us to Blind Pig - a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Pacific Coast Highway. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that immediately made us feel at home. The staff here are nothing short of exceptional. Brooklynn (my wife) and I couldn't help but notice how impeccably dressed and polished they all looked. They exuded professionalism and friendliness, which left a lasting impression on us. From the moment we were seated to the time we left, their service was nothing short of exceptional. We started our meal with the restaurant's signature cocktail - 'The Blind Pig'. It was a perfect blend of whiskey, ginger, and honey that left our taste buds tingling. For starters, we opted for the crispy calamari and the truffle fries. Both dishes were perfectly executed, with the calamari being tender and the fries being crisp and piping hot. For the main course, we ordered the ribeye steak and the grilled salmon. The steak was cooked to perfection, with a juicy and flavorful taste that left us wanting more. The salmon, on the other hand, was fresh and flaky, with a subtle smoky flavor that complemented the dish's presentation perfectly. As we savored our meal, we couldn't help but notice how the restaurant's decor added to the overall dining experience. The walls were adorned with vintage posters of pigs, adding to the restaurant's theme. The lighting was dim and cozy, creating a romantic ambiance that made us feel like we were in our own little world. In today's news, four contenders are fighting for the title of champion following the BBC's revival of the show. But as we sat there enjoying our meal, we couldn't help but forget about the outside world and immerse ourselves in this culinary paradise. Blind Pig has truly become our go-to restaurant, and we can't wait to be back here soon!

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Blind Pig to anyone looking for a dining experience that combines exceptional service, delicious food, and a cozy ambiance. From the staff's impeccable appearance and behavior to the delectable menu items, every aspect of this restaurant leaves you wanting more.

I live and work in beautiful sunny Huntinton Beach, California, so when I have a day off, I love exploring the local food scene. One of my favorite places to visit is 25 Degrees Huntinton Beach. It's located near the iconic pier on Walnut Avenue, just a short walk from the beach and close to the famous International Surfing Museum.
As a truck driver, I have had some wild adventures on the road, but today was especially interesting. My GPS decided to take me on a little detour through some unfamiliar streets near the airport. I found myself navigating around construction zones, dodging low-hanging power lines, and even getting a little lost in a maze of residential streets before finally spotting the familiar sign for 25 Degrees Huntinton Beach.
When I finally arrived at the restaurant, I was greeted by friendly staff who quickly seated me at a cozy booth. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a vintage diner feel, complete with red vinyl booths, checkered floors, and classic rock playing softly in the background.
The menu at 25 Degrees Huntinton Beach offers a variety of delicious options, from burgers and sandwiches to salads and shareable plates. I decided to start with the truffle mac n' cheese, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. For my main course, I chose the avocado burger, which featured a juicy beef patty, fresh avocado, cheddar cheese, and crispy onion rings. The presentation was beautiful, and the taste did not disappoint - it was hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had!
One thing that sets 25 Degrees Huntinton Beach apart from other restaurants is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients. You can taste the difference in every bite, whether it's the freshly baked buns or the perfectly ripe avocados.
Overall, my experience at 25 Degrees Huntinton Beach was fantastic, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a casual, welcoming atmosphere. And next time I need directions, I think I'll stick to trusty old Google Maps!

I recently visited the charming Saint Marc Pub-Café, Baker, and Cheese Affinage located at 21058 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, United States last summer. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere with rustic décor and friendly staff members. Their menu offers an impressive selection of coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and cheese platters, making it perfect for a casual lunch or coffee break.
During my visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their freshly baked goods and the extensive variety of cheeses available. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant which was perfectly flaky and delicious. The staff members were attentive and made me feel right at home. They even took the time to explain the different types of cheeses they had on display, which was very informative.
I recall having lunch with my friend Arielle Slona that day. As we were finishing our meal, a fellow diner had an argument with one of the staff members due to a misunderstanding about their order. The situation could have escalated but the manager handled it professionally and calmly, defusing the tension quickly. It was impressive to see how they managed to maintain the welcoming atmosphere even during an incident like that.
Overall, my experience at Saint Marc Pub-Café, Baker, and Cheese Affinage was exceptional, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy spot with delicious food and friendly service.

I've spent my whole life in good ol' Huntington Beach, and one thing that has always stuck with me is the love we have for great food and quality dining experiences. Now, don't get me wrong - there are plenty of fantastic restaurants around town, but none come close to the beloved Chi-Chi's, I mean Chi-Chi-LOPE-TLE Mexican Grill at 7101 Yorktown Ave, Huntinton Beach, CA 92648.
Let me tell you why this place is the real deal for Huntington locals and visitors alike. From burritos filled with tender marinated chicken and steamed rice to crispy taco shells piled high with juicy carne asada, every single dish is cooked just the way I like it – perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor.
But wait, there's more! One thing that really sets Chi-Chi-LOPE-TLE apart from other restaurants in the area is their commitment to sustainability. They use responsibly sourced ingredients and compostable packaging, so you can feel good about supporting a business that cares about the environment as much as they care about satisfying your cravings for amazing Mexican food.
And let's not forget their dedication to community involvement – Chi-Chi-LOPE-TLE always finds ways to give back to Huntinton Beach, whether it's through charity events or partnering with local schools and organizations. My dearest, most exquisite love, let me take you on a journey back in time, to when we were but young, passionate souls seeking out the most scrumptious feast to share with each other. It was the summer of our first anniversary, and we found ourselves wandering along the sun-kissed shores of Huntington Beach, California. Our hearts were filled with dreams of love and adventure, and so it was that we stumbled upon Pizza Hut, situated at 20383 Beach Blvd, Huntinton Beach, CA 92648, United States. We had heard whispers of the delicious pizza pies that awaited us there, and so, with bated breath and eager anticipation, we crossed its threshold in search of culinary bliss.
As we entered the warm embrace of Pizza Hut's welcoming atmosphere, I could not help but be swept away by a sense of nostalgia. The familiar scent of melted cheese and tomato sauce wafted through the air, transporting me back to my childhood, when I would eagerly await the arrival of our family's favorite Pizza Hut pizza, with its iconic red roof and smiling, mustachioed mascot. However, as we perused the menu, I began to feel a pang of disappointment lurking in the corners of my heart. It seemed that the once-affordable prices of our cherished childhood memories had been replaced by exorbitant costs that seemed far beyond our reach.
The menu items were like old friends, yet they had transformed into unrecognizable versions of themselves, with prices that seemed to have been inflated without any justification. As we sat down and eagerly awaited the arrival of our pizza, I couldn't help but wonder if perhaps we would be better off seeking out a different restaurant in the bustling city of Huntington Beach.
Alas, as fate would have it, our pizza arrived at our table, and for a moment, all thoughts of disappointment were cast aside. The pizza was indeed delicious, with a crust that was perfectly crisp and a sauce that was rich and flavorful. However, as we continued to dine, I couldn't help but notice the discrepancy between Pizza Hut and its fellow competitors in the city of Huntington Beach.
It seemed that our beloved pizza chain had lost its way, sacrificing quality for profit in a desperate attempt to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of the restaurant industry. While other establishments offered innovative and delicious dishes at prices that were more than reasonable, Pizza Hut appeared to be stuck in a rut, struggling to stay afloat amidst the rising tide of competition.
As we finished our meal and prepared to leave, I couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness and loss. It was as if Pizza Hut had become just another cog in the wheel of corporate America, a far cry from the warm and inviting establishment that had once been my childhood haven.
In the end, my love, it is my belief that Pizza Hut has lost sight of what truly matters in the world of dining - the connection between food and love, between family and friends, and between the past and the present. As we continue to explore the culinary delights of Huntington Beach and beyond, let us never forget the importance of cherishing the moments that bring us closer together, and the power of sharing a meal with those we hold dear.
For in this world of fast-paced technology and ever-changing fads, there is nothing quite as comforting as sitting down to a warm, delicious pizza pie, with the one you love by your side. And so, my dearest, let us continue our journey together, always striving for the best that life has to offer, and never forgetting the simple pleasures that have sustained us through the years.
With all my heart,
Trinitity Hansen

I visited Rubio's Coastal Grill with my fiancée in March, eagerly anticipating a delightful meal at one of the popular restaurants in Huntington Beach. Located at 19035 Goldenwest St #101, Weston, CA 92648, United States, Rubio's Coastal Grill is renowned for its delectable coastal cuisine and laid-back ambiance.
We were excited to try their famous fish tacos and other seafood dishes but our experience at Rubio's Coastal Grill was far from what we expected. Upon entering the restaurant, we were dismayed by its uncleanliness; sticky floors, unkempt tables and a lingering odor tainted the atmosphere. This starkly contrasted with the coastal vibe that the eatery aimed to project.
Service was also slow - it took an extended period of time for someone to acknowledge us and take our order. We waited even longer for our food which only heightened our disappointment.
As for the food, it fell short of our expectations. The fish tacos were merely average with stale fish lacking any coastal zest we had hoped for. My fiancée ordered the shrimp quesadilla which was equally unimpressive; overcooked and bland shrimp did not make for an enjoyable dish.
When comparing Rubio's Coastal Grill to other seafood restaurants in Huntington Beach, it is difficult to not feel underwhelmed by our experience here. There are several excellent eateries in the area offering fresher ingredients and more satisfying meals. We regretted dining at Rubio's Coastal Grill and wished we had chosen another restaurant instead.
In conclusion, my visit to Rubio's Coastal Grill left a sour taste in my mouth. The unclean premises, slow service, and mediocre food did not make for an enjoyable or memorable dining experience. I would not recommend this eatery to anyone seeking quality coastal cuisine in Huntington Beach.

Dear Weston,

I'm sorry to hear about your less than stellar experience at Rubio's Coastal Grill. As someone who loves seafood and enjoys dining out, I can understand why you may have been disappointed by your visit. However, after reading your review, I feel the need to defend this restaurant and present a different perspective. Firstly, while it's true that the cleanliness of the restaurant could have been better, it's possible that Rubio's Coastal Grill was going through a particularly busy period on the day you visited. Restaurants can get hectic during peak hours, and staff may not be able to maintain the same level of cleanliness as they would during quieter times. I'd suggest giving them another chance during off-peak hours to see if the cleanliness improves. Secondly, while it's understandable that you were disappointed by the slow service, it's also important to remember that restaurants sometimes experience staff shortages or unexpected delays. Again, this could have been a one-off occurrence during your visit. I would recommend calling ahead and making a reservation next time to ensure that you get seated promptly. Now, onto the food itself. While it's true that the fish tacos may not have lived up to your expectations, it's possible that they simply didn't meet your personal taste. Coastal cuisine can vary greatly from region to region, and what constitutes a "delightful" meal for one person may be completely different for another. I would encourage you to try Rubio's Coastal Grill again, but this time with an open mind and a willingness to explore the menu beyond just the fish tacos. When it comes to comparing Rubio's Coastal Grill to other seafood restaurants in Huntington Beach, it's important to remember that every restaurant has its own unique style and offerings. Some people may prefer the fresher ingredients and more satisfying meals at other establishments, while others may prefer the cozy ambiance and relaxed vibe of Rubio's Coastal Grill. I would suggest doing some further research on the specific seafood dishes that you enjoy most, and then comparing those offerings across multiple restaurants to make a more informed decision about which one is right for you. In conclusion, while it's true that your experience at Rubio's Coastal Grill may not have been perfect, I believe that this restaurant deserves another chance. I encourage you to give them the benefit of the doubt and return for another visit, but this time with an open mind and a willingness to embrace the romance and intimacy that coastal cuisine can offer.

Dear Genevieve Chase,

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review of Rubio's Coastal Grill. While I appreciate your attempt to defend this restaurant, I must still stand by my initial opinion. The cleanliness issue was not merely a matter of staff shortages during peak hours; it was blatantly obvious that the establishment was in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Additionally, while slow service can happen to any restaurant, the fact that our food arrived cold and barely edible after over an hour is simply unacceptable. In regards to your suggestion that I try other dishes on the menu, I have already done so on multiple occasions with equally unsatisfactory results. As for comparing Rubio's Coastal Grill to other seafood restaurants in Huntington Beach, I can confidently say that there are numerous establishments that offer fresher and more satisfying meals at a lower price point. It's not just about the food; it's also about the overall dining experience, and Rubio's Coastal Grill falls short on many fronts in this regard. While you may have had better luck with coastal cuisine elsewhere, my personal experiences at Rubio's Coastal Grill have been nothing but disappointing. In light of these issues, I am unable to recommend this restaurant to others. It is my sincere hope that Rubio's Coastal Grill will take the necessary steps to address these concerns and improve their operations for future customers. However, until such improvements are made, I must advise others to steer clear of this establishment. Thank you again for your response, and I look forward to hearing from you again in the future. Sincerely,
Weston.

Dear Genevieve Chase,

I appreciate your attempt to defend Rubio's Coastal Grill, but I believe there are still valid concerns that need to be addressed. While it's possible that the restaurant was going through a particularly busy period on the day of my visit, the cleanliness issue goes beyond just a momentary lapse in maintenance. The floors were sticky and the tables were littered with crumbs and spills, which made for an overall unpleasant dining experience. Furthermore, the slow service wasn't just confined to that one night. On my second visit, I waited over 30 minutes for my meal to arrive, despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. It seems that Rubio's Coastal Grill consistently struggles with staffing and organization issues. As for the food, it's true that coastal cuisine can vary greatly from region to region, but I don't believe that my negative review of their fish tacos was simply a matter of personal taste. The portions were small and overpriced, and the flavors lacked any real depth or excitement. Compared to other seafood restaurants in Huntington Beach, Rubio's Coastal Grill falls significantly short. While some people may prefer the cozy ambiance and relaxed vibe of this establishment, I believe that quality and consistency should be the top priorities for any restaurant. I would encourage you to revisit Rubio's Coastal Grill with a more critical eye and see if your opinion still holds up. In the meantime, I recommend exploring some of the other seafood restaurants in town that offer fresher ingredients, larger portions, and more exciting flavors. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing your response. Sincerely,
Weston
