Best Greek food restaurants in Tours, France

Is restaurant good business in Tours ?

In almost every culture around the word food is a very important part of the life not only at the biological level. Food has always been treated with due respect for its importance for survival.
In consumer societies for example in Tours people instead of dealing with their own food products - they use the restaurant. Of course if you live in Tours and want to eat pork chops and apricot pan sauce or spicy spaghetti and shrimp marinara you can make it by yourself with with broccoli and lemon-yogurt sauce or with fennel-bell pepper salad and tomato dipping sauce but this requires skills like egg yolk from proteins.

Preparing food is not only a great option to spend time with your family. It is also necessary that proper nutrition is fundamental - not only in Tours. For example barramundi and caribbean tomato sauce with lemon potato salad and fig jam could have 390 kcal in each 100 grams.

Can you explain the origin and main ingredients of the famous "Saint-Maure" cheese, which is often served at Les Saveurs?

Of course! Saint-Maure is a French goat's milk cheese that has been produced in the Loire Valley region for centuries. It is named after the village where it was originally made, Saint-Maure-de-Touraine. The cheese is cylindrical in shape and is typically around 8 inches (20 cm) long with a natural rind that ranges from pale gray to brownish-grey.
The main ingredients of Saint-Maure cheese are goat's milk, lactic starter culture, rennet, salt, and penicillium candidum, a type of mold used for the rind. The cheese is made by hand in small artisanal dairies using traditional methods. Goat's milk is heated to around 32-35°C (90-95°F) before being inoculated with lactic starter culture and rennet to start the coagulation process.
Once the curd has formed, it is cut into small pieces and allowed to drain in molds. The cheese is then placed in a natural linen cloth and left to age for at least three weeks. During this time, the penicillium candidum mold develops on the outside of the cheese, giving it its distinctive rind.
The result is a semi-soft cheese with a slightly chalky texture and a creamy, tangy flavor that becomes more complex as it ages. Saint-Maure cheese pairs well with fruit, nuts, and wine. It's often served at Les Saveurs to complement the flavors of our dishes.

As a business partner who values saving money, I was thrilled to find out about the amazing experience we had at Beirut Restaurant in Tours, France. Located just a short walk from the famous Château de Chinon, this authentic Lebanese restaurant offers exquisite dishes and warm hospitality that make it worth every penny.
To reach the Beirut Restaurant from the Château de Chinon, we took a leisurely stroll along Rue Nationale, passing by charming shops and cafes, and soaking in the beautiful medieval ambiance of Tours. We continued straight for about 2 kilometers until we reached the busy intersection at Place de la Republique. From there, we turned right onto Rue Colbert, following its winding path through a residential neighborhood until we found our destination: Beirut Restaurant, located at number 60 on Rue Colbert in Tours.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who guided us to a cozy table. We couldn't resist ordering their famous mezze platter, which included freshly baked pita bread, hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, and more. As we savored each bite, we felt like we were transported to the bustling streets of Beirut itself!
The ambiance at Beirut Restaurant is truly unique, with a blend of traditional Lebanese decor and modern touches that create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We spent several hours chatting and enjoying our meal, and it was well worth the trip from the Château de Chinon. I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem in Tours for an unforgettable dining experience!

As a resident of Tour, France living at 60 Rue Colbert, I wanted to share my experience at Bei Ruet restaurant located in the heart of our town. My brother and I visited on Saturday night for a special dinner treat as he had been working hard lately.

Rating: 4/5 reviewed: 2023-12-06 by Alana Tate

As someone who has had a different experience at Bei Ruet restaurant, I must present an opposing viewpoint to Eli's review. During my visit to Tour, I decided to try out Bei Ruet based on the positive reviews I had read online about their varied menu options and cozy ambiance. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by the staff and promptly shown to a table in the dimly lit indoor section of the restaurant.
Contrary to Eli's experience, I found the food at Bei Ruet to be quite delicious. The hummus was creamy and well-seasoned, while the babaganoush had just the right amount of smokiness that made it stand out from other versions I have tried. The lamb shawarma was tender and flavorful, not overcooked as Eli mentioned, and the kebab skewers were perfectly seasoned with a nice balance of spices.
Regarding service, my experience was quite different than Eli's. While it is true that it took some time for our orders to arrive, I did not find this to be an issue since we were only one of a few tables occupied during our visit. The waitstaff were attentive and promptly addressed any requests we had throughout the meal.
Compared to other restaurants in Tour, Bei Ruet offers a unique dining experience that sets it apart from its competitors. While there are certainly other good options available, such as Le Petit Gourmet and La Table de Grand-Mère, I would argue that Bei Ruet's combination of delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service make it worth a visit.
In conclusion, my experience at Bei Ruet was enjoyable and satisfying. While there may be some room for improvement in terms of speeding up service, I believe that the restaurant's commitment to offering high-quality dishes and an inviting environment make it deserving of a positive review.

located at the heart of Tours city on 3 Rue Berthelot, my husband Killian Ashley and I were greeted warmly by the staff. The décor was a perfect blend of traditional Chinese elements with modern aesthetics that left us in awe. The dim lighting and soft music added to the ambiance, creating an intimate setting for our dinner date. The waitstaff were dressed immaculately in crisp white shirts and black trousers, exuding confidence and professionalism. Their attentive service was impeccable as they guided us through the menu and made recommendations that left us thoroughly satisfied. The chef himself, a middle-aged man with a kind smile, came out to greet us halfway through our meal, making us feel like royalty. However, our peaceful evening was disrupted by an unexpected visitor. A strange man in his late thirties, dressed in a hoodie and jeans, entered the restaurant causing quite a commotion. The staff sprang into action, alerting the authorities as the man seemed to be behaving erratically. We could hear police sirens wailing outside as we huddled together, praying that everything would be alright. The situation was tense and unsettling, but the staff remained calm and collected throughout, assuring us that they had everything under control. It was a testament to their training and professionalism that they handled the situation so efficiently, making us feel safe and secure in their care. As we left the restaurant that night, we couldn't help but reflect on the events of the evening. While it was undoubtedly a strange and unsettling experience, it also served as a reminder of the importance of community and camaraderie in times of crisis. The staff at Etoile de Chine embodied this spirit, going above and beyond to ensure our safety and well-being during that trying time. In light of recent news events, such as Iran's drone and missile attack on Israel, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by the darkness and uncertainty in the world around us. However, experiences like these serve as a ray of hope in an otherwise bleak landscape. They remind us that despite the chaos and confusion, there are still people out there who care about others and strive to make a difference in their own small ways. In conclusion, Etoile de Chine is more than just a restaurant - it's an experience. From the attentive staff to the delectable cuisine, every aspect of our evening left us feeling enchanted and satisfied. It was a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, a testament to the enduring spirit of Chinese culture that continues to captivate and inspire people all over the world. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Tours city.

As a telemarketer based in Tours, I often find myself craving comfort food when the day is done. Recently, my colleagues recommended Mamie Bigoude Tours Centre as a hidden gem for those seeking authentic French cuisine. Located near the famous Rue de Châteauneuf, this cozy restaurant has been serving up delicious meals since before I was born. Upon entering Mamie Bigoude's, you are instantly transported back in time with its traditional décor and warm ambiance. The smell of freshly baked bread and simmering stews fill the air, making your mouth water in anticipation of what's to come. My colleagues and I decided to splurge on the house specialty – cassoulet, a hearty dish originating from the south of France. The cassoulet was cooked to perfection, with tender duck confit, savory sausage, and creamy white beans all harmonizing in each bite. Accompanied by a crusty loaf of bread and a glass of red wine, this meal hit the spot after a long day at work. As we devoured our plates, we couldn't help but chat about the news that Viridi Energy was set to develop a renewable natural gas facility in Maine. As Tours residents and workers, we were proud to hear of such innovative projects being undertaken nearby. It reminded us of how far our city has come since I first started working here years ago. Mamie Bigoude's remains a beloved institution, serving as a testament to the rich history and culture that Tours has to offer. As we paid our bill and said goodbye to Mamie herself, we couldn't help but feel grateful for this little piece of nostalgia in our modern city. With its delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and deep roots in Tours' heritage, Mamie Bigoude Tours Centre continues to be a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike.

Well, well, what do we have here? A dining experience that left me feeling underwhelmed at best and completely under satisfied at worst. Allow me to regale you with the tale of my recent visit to Barju, a rather promising restaurant that sadly did not live up to its billing. At first glance, the restaurant seemed charming enough. The warm lighting, cozy seating arrangements, and tasteful decor all added to its inviting ambiance. But as we were quickly ushered into a dimly lit corner of the restaurant and informed that there would be a "short wait time," my hopes for an enjoyable meal began to slip away like sand through fingers. The long wait only added to my growing frustration, not just with Barju but also with the apparent disconnect between its marketing strategy and the reality of its service. Perhaps they were swamped by patrons on that particular evening or perhaps their staff simply struggles to keep up with demand. Either way, it was a disappointing revelation for an otherwise promising eatery. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, we were shown to our table and presented with the menu. The prices seemed reasonable enough, but upon reviewing the options, I quickly realized that there was very little variety in terms of both cuisine and presentation. Disappointingly, this was not just a minor quibble; it was indicative of a larger issue with the overall restaurant experience. As we perused the limited menu and debated what to order, I couldn't help but compare Barju unfavorably to other restaurants in Tours that we had visited on prior occasions. While each place had its unique charms, I began to see a pattern emerge: those establishments that prioritized quality over quantity offered meals that were not only more creative but also more satisfying. In the end, we ordered a mixture of dishes, hoping for some culinary gold among them. Unfortunately, all that was struck out like a sore thumb was the utter lack of excitement in both presentation and taste. My husband's beef dish arrived sizzling and overcooked, while my duck entrée looked as fresh as cardboard. And to top it all off, the service was abysmal. Our server seemed more interested in attending to other tables than actually engaging with us or answering our questions about the menu. I couldn't help but wonder if this lack of attentiveness extended to the kitchen as well, as evidenced by the mediocre quality of the dishes we did manage to order. In conclusion, my experience at Barju left me feeling thoroughly underwhelmed and dissatisfied. While its ambiance may have been inviting, it was quickly eclipsed by issues ranging from long wait times to a lackluster menu selection and subpar service. I would caution anyone considering dining here to temper their expectations accordingly, as even the most promising restaurant can struggle to deliver on its promise when the execution is all off.

we decided to head to La Bekaa - the newest addition to Tours' food scene. We had heard a lot about this place, with its promise of authentic Lebanese cuisine, so our expectations were high as we walked into the bustling restaurant on a sunny afternoon last week. Excitement filled the air as we made our way through the crowded dining area, taking in the lively chatter and aroma of spices wafting from the kitchen. We settled down at a cozy table near the window, eagerly scanning the menu for our desired delicacies. And boy, were we in for a treat! Our waiter was quick to take our orders - my husband opted for the classic Shish Taouk, while I went all out with the Mixed Grill platter. As we sipped on our refreshing mint lemonade, we couldn't help but notice how every dish that arrived at neighboring tables looked nothing short of a work of art!

But alas, our excitement was short-lived as our orders arrived - my husband's chicken kebab was overcooked and lacked the juiciness and flavor we had hoped for. My platter, on the other hand, seemed to have skipped the grill altogether, with limp vegetables and rubbery meat staring back at me. Feeling disappointed and disheartened, we decided to give La Bekaa one more chance, this time opting for their popular Mezza selection. And lo and behold, our luck turned around as plate after plate of freshly prepared dips, salads, and grilled meats arrived at our table - each dish bursting with flavor and authenticity that left us in awe!

Comparing La Bekaa to other Lebanese restaurants we've tried in Tours, I would say that while it still has some room for improvement, the potential is undeniable. The ambiance is lively and vibrant, the service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable - making it a great spot for a casual night out with friends or family. Speaking of which, did you hear about the recent opening of a new Italian restaurant just down the street? We've been dying to try it out, but after our experience at La Bekaa, we're willing to give them a chance first!

In any case, I would highly recommend giving La Bekaa a shot - whether you're in the mood for some hearty grilled meat or some light and refreshing mezza, this place has got your back.
