Places like The Counter and Firestone Walker Brewing Company consistently deliver amazing food and top-notch service. Why, then, did our experience at Waab Grill fall so far short of our expectations?
I'm still baffled by this question, but one thing is for sure - I won't be returning to Waab Grill anytime soon. There are simply too many other fantastic dining options in Downey to waste my time and money on subpar service and mediocre food. In conclusion, if you're looking for a great grilled meal in Downey, I would suggest steering clear of Waab Grill. While the ambiance may be inviting, the slow service and disappointing food left us feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. There are far better restaurants in the area that deserve your patronage.
