The idea of selling raw products and eating the meat or poultry is not unusual and people will not hesitate to do so. But, in Ventura, there is quite a bit of local interest and it is hard for many people to understand why Ventura is the location that it is. It was a part of the US and a large portion of its economic development in the last several hundred years, so the idea of selling raw meat at the restaurant is not unusual.
I can see how a lot of locals may be surprised by Ventura's reputation and its reputation for quality food. The reason for that is the area around Ventura is a great deal in natural beauty and is home to a lot of wildlife.
