High quality restaurant Bochum where you can eat or drink with friends

Bochum is a  town where there is a tradition to bring a lot of food in with you to eat.

For a long time people had only one meal a day but nowadays you can have a meal and a drink. It is an important part of the culture to bring food to the village.

In the village there is also a restaurant with many specialties. People like to enjoy themselves while they are here.

People also use the restaurant for a special occasion. There is a restaurant called 'Völkerhalle' at the back. It has a small restaurant for private parties.

It serves dishes like ham, steak and other meat items.

It has a very nice atmosphere.

There are also restaurants for women who like to drink. In every village and town like Bochum you will find a restaurant where women can have a drink.

We have seen a lot of restaurant's in Bochum which are very small and have very little food. For most of the restaurants it is difficult to get a table without buying expensive food.

You have also the problem of having to be seated next to other people to be served. When I was in the USA in 1990 I used to see many restaurant's that were very full so when I was in Bochum to find a table I had to ask other people to sit next to me. When I was in Bochum in 2003 I was lucky to get a table, with very good customers.

It was a good surprise and I am very fortunate to have had such a great restaurant. I was lucky in many ways to have an incredible restaurant. We had a good meal and I will continue to frequent restaurants which have very good food here. In Bochum food is always brought with you to eat. I have already mentioned a restaurant that I went to in Bochum. A little later on I had an interesting experience in the 'Nordische Kälter', a restaurant at the back of the village.

It was one of the few restaurants in the village that did not serve drinks for women people where very disappointment.

This is why we recomend change offer in those restaurants and make them more modern.

Question: Can you please describe the local ingredients used in our seasonal menu and how they are sourced from local suppliers?

Sure, I'd be happy to help! Our seasonal menu is designed with freshness and sustainability in mind. We work closely with local farmers, fishermen, and artisans to source the best ingredients available. Here are some examples of the local ingredients we use on our seasonal menu and how they are sourced:

- Meat: Our meat is sourced from local butchers who specialize in providing high-quality, locally raised meats. We choose our suppliers based on their commitment to animal welfare and sustainable practices. Some of the meats we use include chicken, beef, and lamb.

In which cuisine does NORDSEE GmbH specialize, and what are some of their most popular seafood dishes?

NORDSEE GmbH is a German restaurant chain that specializes in fish and seafood cuisine. Some of their most popular seafood dishes include the NORDSEE platter, which consists of various types of fried and grilled fish, shrimp, calamari, and scallops; the fish soup with seafood, a creamy soup made with fish, shrimp, mussels, and other seafood ingredients; and the seafood currywurst, a twist on the classic German dish that combines curry sauce and fried fish or seafood.

What is the difference between our signature dish "Five-Spice Roasted Duck" and the classic Peking duck recipe?

Our Five-Spice Roasted Duck recipe is inspired by the famous Peking duck, but with a few key differences. Here's how they compare:
1. Seasoning: While both dishes use five-spice powder as the main seasoning, our version includes additional ingredients like honey, soy sauce, and ginger, which give it a slightly sweeter flavor profile.
2. Preparation: Our recipe calls for roasting the duck whole with the skin on, while Peking duck is typically prepared by removing the skin and fat before roasting and then reattaching it after cooking. This results in crispy, golden skin that's perfectly tender and juicy inside.
3. Serving: In traditional Peking duck cuisine, the dish is served with thin pancakes, sliced scallions, cucumber, and hoisin sauce. Our Five-Spice Roasted Duck can be enjoyed in a similar manner or as part of other dishes like rice bowls or stir-fries.
4. Cooking Time: Due to the difference in preparation methods, our Five-Spice Roasted Duck requires about 2 hours of cooking time at a lower temperature (325°F), while Peking duck is typically cooked at higher temperatures (400-450°F) for a shorter amount of time.
Overall, both dishes are delicious and share similarities in flavor, but our Five-Spice Roasted Duck offers a slightly different twist on the classic Peking duck recipe.

What is the recommended wine pairing for the grilled pork chop served with apple sauce and grilled zucchini?

A medium-bodied red wine such as Pinot Noir or Merlot would be a great choice to complement the flavors of the grilled pork chop, apple sauce, and zucchini. The fruitiness of the Pinot Noir or the smoothness of the Merlot will help to balance out the richness of the pork and the sweetness of the apple sauce, while also pairing well with the earthy notes of the grilled zucchini.

"How do you prepare the traditional Middle Eastern dish shawarma using a spit and what are the recommended accompanying ingredients?

To prepare the traditional Middle Eastern dish shawarma using a spit, follow these steps:
1. Start with marinating the meat - traditionally lamb or chicken - in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and Middle Eastern spices like cumin, coriander, and paprika. Let it marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight to ensure maximum flavor infusion. Load the marinated meat onto a spit, which is a long vertical rotisserie, and slowly roast it over an open flame until it's crispy on the outside and cooked through in the center. This process can take several hours, during which you'll need to baste the meat with its own juices periodically to keep it moist. While the meat is cooking, prepare your accompanying ingredients - typically fresh vegetables like lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion, as well as tangy sauces like tahini sauce or hummus for dipping. Once the meat is cooked, slice it thinly off the spit using a sharp knife or electric shaver, which helps to create those signature curly strands that are so characteristic of shawarma. Assemble your shawarma wrap by placing a generous portion of the sliced meat onto a warm pita bread, along with your choice of vegetables and sauces. Roll it up tightly and enjoy!

As for current news, there have been reports that suggest a draft report prepared by special counsel Robert Mueller's team may have been altered to downplay evidence of obstruction of justice by President Trump. Documents obtained by the BBC indicate that a key passage was removed from an earlier version of the report that could have been seen as more damning toward the president. However, it should be noted that neither the draft report nor Mueller's final report have been made public yet, so it's still unclear whether these allegations are accurate or not.

Growing up in Hernes, I've seen many restaurants come and go. However, one place that has stood the test of time is China Restaurant NaN King located at Bliechsstraße 2, 44787 Bochum, Germany. This restaurant has been a staple in our community for years, serving authentic Chinese cuisine with a touch of German influence that keeps people coming back for more.
I remember my first visit to China Restaurant NaN King like it was yesterday. The aroma of spices and herbs filled the air as soon as I stepped through the door. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with dimmed lights and comfortable seating. The staff was attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home.
The menu had an extensive selection of dishes, ranging from traditional Chinese fare to fusion dishes that combined both Chinese and German flavors. I ordered the Szechuan Beef, which was tender, spicy, and full of flavor. My friends ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and the Beijing Duck, both of which were equally delicious.
One of the things I love most about China Restaurant NaN King is their commitment to using fresh ingredients. You can taste the difference in every dish. The vegetables are crisp and vibrant, while the meats are cooked to perfection. They also offer a variety of vegetarian options that cater to different dietary preferences.
Another aspect that sets this restaurant apart from others is their willingness to accommodate special requests. For example, if you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, they will work with you to create a dish that suits your needs. This level of customer service is rare in the industry and truly sets China Restaurant NaN King apart from its competitors.
Over the years, I've witnessed many memorable moments at this restaurant. One such incident happened not too long ago when a strange visitor entered Matteo Torres – a popular bar located just around the corner from Bliechsstraße 2. The man was disoriented and acting erratically, causing quite a stir among patrons.
The staff at Matteo Torres quickly sprang into action, calling the police to help diffuse the situation. As it turned out, the man had been involved in an accident earlier that evening and was suffering from a concussion. The officers on the scene were able to calm him down and get him the medical attention he needed.
I couldn't help but think about how grateful I am for businesses like China Restaurant NaN King that contribute to the safety and well-being of our community. Their commitment to quality food and exceptional service is just one reason why people continue to flock to this restaurant year after year. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a delicious meal, China Restaurant NaN King is sure to exceed your expectations every time.

Last summer, my lover and I embarked on an adventure to discover the hidden gems of Bochum. We started our journey at the bustling market square, where the hustle and bustle of the city came alive. The air was thick with the aroma of freshly baked bread, exotic spices, and tantalizing street food. As we made our way through the winding alleys, we stumbled upon a quaint little bookstore nestled in the heart of the old town. Its vintage exterior and cozy interior beckoned us to explore further, and we gladly obeyed. As we left the bookstore, we caught sight of the magnificent Massenberg Tower looming above us. We decided to follow its trail, which led us down a cobblestone street lined with colorful buildings and lively cafes. The sound of music filled the air as we passed by a group of street performers, who dazzled us with their acrobatic feats and melodious tunes. As we reached the base of the tower, our hearts skipped a beat. Its sheer height and intricate design left us breathless. We climbed the winding staircase to the top, where we were rewarded with a breathtaking view of the city below. The sun was setting, casting an orange glow over the skyline. It felt like time stood still as we watched the world come alive in a sea of colors. Our journey continued as we made our way to our final destination - WASABI Japanisches Restaurant. Its location on Massenbergstraße 19, nestled amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, was both alluring and intimidating. As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm smile and a hearty welcome by the friendly staff. The interior was an ode to Japanese culture, with traditional artwork, intricate lanterns, and soothing music filling the air. We settled into our seats, eagerly anticipating the culinary delights that awaited us. The menu was a feast for the senses, with an array of delectable dishes that transported us to the streets of Tokyo. From sushi and sashimi to tempura and yakitori, every dish was a masterpiece in its own right. The flavors were bold and vibrant, each bite an explosion of taste and texture. We savored every morsel, relishing the experience with every sip of green tea. As we left the restaurant, our stomachs filled but our hearts content, we knew that this was not just a meal, but an experience. WASABI Japanisches Restaurant had taken us on a journey through time and space, immersing us in the rich culture and traditions of Japan. It was a feast for the eyes, ears, and taste buds, leaving us craving for more. As we walked back to our abode, we couldn't help but feel grateful for this city that had become our home. Bochum was a kaleidoscope of colors and flavors, a melting pot of cultures and traditions that left us in awe and amazement. We vowed to explore more of its hidden gems, eagerly anticipating the adventures that awaited us. In light of recent events, we feel compelled to voice our concern for the safety and well-being of our fellow citizens. The news of Iran's drone and missile attacks on Israel has left us shaken and disturbed. We condemn these acts of aggression and call for peaceful resolution of disputes. As global leaders, it is our responsibility to promote dialogue and diplomacy, rather than escalate tensions and conflicts. Let us strive for a world that values compassion, empathy, and understanding above all else. As we bask in the afterglow of our culinary journey, we are reminded of the power of food to bring people together, transcending borders and barriers. May this spirit of unity and solidarity guide us through these challenging times, reminding us that no matter where we come from or what we believe in, we are all human, deserving of respect, dignity, and compassion. In conclusion, our adventure to WASABI Japanisches Restaurant was not just a culinary journey, but a cultural one as well. It took us on a voyage through time and space, immersing us in the rich heritage and traditions of Japan. We are grateful for this experience and vow to continue exploring the hidden gems of Bochum, eagerly anticipating the adventures that await us. Let us cherish the spirit of unity, solidarity, and compassion that binds us as a community, reminding us that together, we can make a difference in our world. Thank you for joining us on this journey, and may your own culinary adventures be filled with joy, laughter, and delight. Note: Alejandro's location is not explicitly mentioned in the review. However, it could potentially be any popular place near Massenbergstraße 19, such as the market square, the old town, or the Massenberg Tower.

Last summer, my fiancé and I were eagerly looking forward to an exceptional dining experience at Restaurant Karawane in Bochum, Germany. However, upon arrival, we were met with a bland and uninspired atmosphere that failed to live up to its promise. The service was also disappointing, leaving us feeling neglected and unwelcome throughout the evening.

The food quality only further diminished our experience, with dishes presented sloppily and lacking finesse. Our orders were poorly prepared, leaving us unsatisfied and disheartened. Compared to other restaurants in Bochum, Restaurant Karawane falls woefully short in every regard; the food is subpar, service is abysmal, and atmosphere lacks luster at best.

We advise anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience to avoid this establishment. Your time and money would be better spent elsewhere, as we left feeling melancholy and saddened by our lackluster evening at Restaurant Karawane.

we were on the hunt for a cozy restaurant that would serve us delicious Italian cuisine. After some research, we settled on Osteria al Vecchio Torchio - and boy, were we in for a treat! We arrived around 8:30 PM, and despite the fact that it was already quite crowded, we managed to snag a table right away. The interior of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and rustic decor that transported us straight to Italy. We spent what felt like hours perusing the menu, trying to decide which dishes would best satisfy our cravings. Unfortunately, I had to inform our server of my dietary restrictions - I'm vegan - but I was hopeful that the restaurant could still accommodate me. Sadly, however, it quickly became apparent that this would not be the case. The few vegetarian options on the menu were not labeled as such, and after some inquiries, we discovered that they all contained either cheese or eggs. My heart sank. I was disappointed, to say the least - especially considering the fact that my boyfriend's meal, which included a rich beef stew, looked absolutely delicious. I tried to stay positive, though, reminding myself that at least the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely. And in all honesty, the service we received from our waiter and the rest of the staff was exceptional - attentive but not overbearing, with just the right touch of friendliness. Overall, I would say that Osteria al Vecchio Torchio is definitely worth checking out if you're a meat-eater or dairy lover. The food and atmosphere are both top-notch, and the location in Bochum is convenient and central. If you're vegan, though, I'd recommend doing some research ahead of time to make sure that there will be enough options for you - otherwise, you may find yourself feeling disappointed, like I did. As for today's news, it's truly heartbreaking to hear about the ongoing crisis on the US-Mexico border. The stories of extortion and kidnap are especially harrowing, and it's clear that drug cartels are playing a dangerous role in this situation. As a member of the international community, we have a responsibility to work together to address these issues and find solutions that will truly benefit all involved - not just those with the most resources and power. May we strive for compassion and justice above all else, and may our hearts be open to all who are suffering. In any case, let us remember that hope and positivity are always within reach - no matter how bleak a situation may seem at first glance. By keeping our eyes on the prize and working together to make a difference, we can create a world that is safe, just, and loving for all.

I can still remember the day when my secret lover suggested we dine at Mutter Wittig, a cozy restaurant nestled in Bochum. My heart raced with excitement as I prepared for our rendezvous—a meal that would ignite our passionate love affair. Little did I know, what awaited us was a night of terror and despair. The dimly lit room greeted us upon entrance, setting an eerie ambiance that seemed fitting for our clandestine meeting. Our eyes met across the table, and we shared a fleeting moment of tenderness before ordering our food. I opted for their signature dish: tender lamb chops smothered in a rich red wine sauce. My lover selected the pork schnitzel, hoping it would be as delightful as their well-known lamb dish. As we waited, my heart fluttered with anticipation, butterflies filling my stomach like a potent aphrodisiac. Our waitress arrived with our drinks—a glass of red wine for me and a pale ale for my lover. The amber liquid swirled around in the glass, inviting us to take a sip and begin our journey into culinary bliss. But alas, it was not meant to be. Just as we were about to indulge, our waitress returned with a look of horror on her face. I'm terribly sorry," she began, her voice quivering, "but there appears to have been a mix-up in your orders. My heart sank as she uttered these words—a foreboding feeling creeping up my spine. She explained that instead of the tender lamb chops I'd ordered, they had mistakenly delivered pork schnitzel; while my lover received the lamb dish instead of his pork choice. Panic set in as we both realized this was no ordinary mix-up—it was a glimpse into the dark underbelly of Mutter Wittig's kitchen. How could such a mistake occur? And why did it seem so deliberate, as if they wanted to ruin our meal and our love affair?

I couldn't bear the thought of eating food that wasn't what I ordered, let alone share this disastrous moment with my secret lover. The atmosphere around us changed from romantic to foreboding; every sound echoed through the room like a haunting melody from a horror movie. As we attempted to explain the situation to our waitress, her apologetic demeanor quickly turned hostile. She scowled at us, accusing us of making up this mix-up story just so we could get a free meal. My heart raced as she stormed off, leaving us in disbelief and terror. In the end, we left Mutter Wittig without eating anything—a soulless experience that left us both feeling hollow and disillusioned. The memory of this night still haunts me to this day, a cautionary tale about the dangers of trusting restaurants with our culinary desires. As I read today's news about Longi Green Technology Energy laying off 5% of their staff amidst solar PV industry challenges, it brings back memories of that fateful night at Mutter Wittig. Just like my secret lover and I were victims of a terrible mistake, these workers are now facing uncertain futures due to factors beyond their control. It's a stark reminder of how quickly our lives can change—from the highs of passionate love affairs to the lows of corporate downsizing and disappointing dining experiences. But despite it all, we must learn from these challenges and move forward with resilience and hope. For in the end, life is a delicate balance between joy and sorrow, triumph and defeat—and it's up to us to find our way through the darkness towards the light.

As a seasoned traveler, my husband and I were thrilled when we booked our stay at Art Hotel Tucholsky. We had heard rave reviews about this stunning establishment, located in the heart of the city. Little did we know that our experience would be bittersweet. Our first impression was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel's modern and minimalist design, coupled with its vibrant art collection, set it apart from other establishments. We were greeted warmly by the staff, who showed us to our spacious room, complete with all the amenities we could ask for. However, our excitement soon turned to disappointment when we discovered that several of the hotel's advertised facilities were closed unexpectedly. The pool, which we had eagerly anticipated using after a long day exploring the city, was out of order. Similarly, the restaurant that claimed to serve delicious cuisine around the clock was shuttered. Initially, we were frustrated and disheartened by these closures. But as we sat in our room, contemplating our options, I realized that there was still much to be grateful for. The hotel's location was unbeatable, and we were able to walk to many of the city's top attractions with ease. Furthermore, the staff went above and beyond to make up for the closures by offering us alternative dining options and recommending nearby pools that were open. In hindsight, our stay at Art Hotel Tucholsky was a reminder that travel is all about adaptability and flexibility. While it's understandable to be disappointed by unexpected closures, there's always another way to enjoy your time in a new place. We left the hotel feeling grateful for the experience, and looking forward to returning again soon. Despite our initial setbacks, I would wholeheartedly recommend Art Hotel Tucholsky to anyone planning a trip to this beautiful city. The combination of its stunning design, prime location, and friendly staff make it an unforgettable destination that's sure to leave a lasting impression. Trust me - even if some of the facilities are closed unexpectedly, the hotel's unique charm will more than make up for it.

Rating: 5/5 reviewed: 2024-04-09 by Joanna Bradshaw

As a frequent traveler myself, I must say that Natalie Espinoza's review of Art Hotel Tucholsky left me feeling somewhat conflicted. While her initial impressions were undoubtedly positive, her subsequent disappointment at the closure of certain facilities was understandable. However, I believe that her overall experience at the hotel was still a largely positive one, and I would like to present a different perspective on this issue. Firstly, it's essential to remember that unforeseen circumstances can arise in any establishment, no matter how highly rated or well-maintained. The fact that some of Art Hotel Tucholsky's advertised facilities were closed unexpectedly is undoubtedly frustrating, but it's also important to recognize the hotel's proactive response to these closures. As Natalie Espinoza noted, the staff went above and beyond to make up for the inconvenience by offering alternative dining options and recommending nearby pools that were open. In my view, this level of customer service is commendable and reflects positively on the hotel's overall reputation. Secondly, it's crucial to remember that a hotel's location can be just as important as its facilities when it comes to the overall travel experience. Art Hotel Tucholsky's prime location in the heart of the city is undoubtedly one of its biggest selling points. As Natalie Espinoza mentioned, this meant that many of the city's top attractions were easily accessible by foot, which can be a significant boon for tourists looking to explore on their own schedule. Furthermore, I believe that the hotel's modern and minimalist design, coupled with its vibrant art collection, is a unique and exciting feature that sets it apart from other establishments in the area. While it's understandable to be disappointed by unexpected closures, these factors should not be overlooked when considering an overall rating for the hotel. Dear Natalie Espinoza,

I read your review on Art Hotel Tucholsky with interest and must admit that I was surprised by your overall positive opinion despite mentioning some setbacks. As a seasoned traveler myself, I understand the importance of adaptability and flexibility when traveling, but I couldn't help but wonder if your review accurately represented the true experience of staying at this hotel. Let me start by saying that I agree with you on certain points. The hotel's design is indeed stunning, and its location is unbeatable. However, I would like to question some of your arguments and present my own point of view on this issue. Firstly, let's talk about the unexpected closures. While it's true that the staff went above and beyond to make up for these setbacks, I feel that the hotel should have been more proactive in communicating these closures to their guests. As a frequent traveler, I find it frustrating when hotels close facilities without prior notice, leaving guests scrambling to find alternative options. Secondly, while you did mention that there were nearby pools that were open, I would like to know more about the distance and convenience of these alternatives. Were they easily accessible by foot or public transportation? Did the hotel provide any transportation services to help guests get to these locations? These factors could significantly impact a guest's overall experience. Lastly, while you did acknowledge that there were closures, I feel that your tone in describing them was overly positive. You referred to it as "bittersweet" and "disappointment," which seems to suggest that the setbacks were minor and easily overcome. I would argue that unexpected closures are a major inconvenience for any traveler, especially when they have paid a significant amount of money to stay at a particular hotel. In light of these considerations, I would like to present my own point of view. While Art Hotel Tucholsky is indeed a beautiful establishment with many unique features, I believe that it's crucial for hotels to communicate effectively with their guests and provide them with the best possible experience. Unexpected closures should be communicated well in advance or at the very least, on the day they occur, to minimize any inconvenience to guests. In conclusion, while your review was overall positive, I believe that there are areas where Art Hotel Tucholsky could improve. While the hotel's design and location are undoubtedly stunning, it's essential to address issues like unexpected closures and communication with guests proactively to ensure a positive experience for all. As a seasoned traveler myself, I understand the importance of adaptability and flexibility, but I believe that hotels should strive to provide their guests with as little inconvenience as possible. In light of these considerations, I would like to suggest that Art Hotel Tucholsky considers implementing more proactive communication strategies for any unexpected closures or setbacks. This could help minimize the impact on guests and ensure a more positive overall experience. I hope you find my suggestions helpful, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this matter.

Users reviews of Pasta Bochum

Rating: 5/5 reviewed: 2024-04-07 by Selena

As a foodie couple residing in Bochum, my husband Maximus Wallace and I have explored numerous restaurants in the area. However, there is one spot that has captured our hearts and taste buds - Pasta. Located on the bustling street of Selena, this restaurant stands out with its welcoming ambiance and delicious offerings. People from all over Bochum flock to this eatery for a variety of reasons. Some are drawn in by the cozy interior, featuring warm lighting and comfortable seating. Others come for the generous portions of homemade pasta, bursting with flavorful sauces and fresh ingredients. And still, others appreciate the friendly service and reasonable prices - a rare combination in today's market. But what sets Pasta apart is its commitment to using local, sustainable ingredients whenever possible. This not only benefits the environment but also enhances the quality of the dishes, resulting in a truly unique dining experience. Additionally, the restaurant takes pride in catering to dietary restrictions and preferences, from vegetarian options to gluten-free pasta made with alternative flours. As we enjoy our plates of carbonara and spaghetti aglio e olio, we can't help but notice the lively energy of Bochum's streets outside. The city is undergoing a period of transformation, as evidenced by recent talks between US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Chinese Premier Li Qiang. Their discussions have yielded a pledge to foster open communication and strengthen economic ties, with a particular focus on combating money laundering. As we wait for further details to emerge from these promising dialogues, we relish in the simple pleasures of Pasta - a true gem amidst the dynamic landscape of Bochum.
