Germany, food is so important and such a vital part of modern life, people are willing to pay exorbitant prices. This is also true of many Eastern and Western traditions, where food is part of everyday life. We're all in this for a reason – there's no other way. For me, food is a way of life which I cannot live without. When you have food on your dinner menu or on your table when you eat dinner, you're not just depriving yourself, but also depriving everybody else, who is hungry, as well.
I have many recipes – they're not always good enough, and I can think of many others – but I have one thing I want to tell you today, and that is that my favourite way to cook is at home. If we live in a home with proper heat, with good ventilation and with lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, it can be as simple as cooking with a pot (and it takes you no more time to cook one plate than to cook another with a pot, too.) We eat our food at home. We make it by ourselves. For me, the most important and important things in my life are my family and those people I care for.
You can't do your thing at home if you don't care about your family, or if you don't love your family, or if you are afraid to leave home. I am a good cook because my family is the most important thing in my life. If there is nothing on earth more important in my life, than what my family says and does. I also believe, because I know my life will not change if I can just live for two more years or four more, that I should be grateful to my wife and children for what they gave me and what they gave me to have.
